DIY Irrigation :: Drippers & Driplines :: Air Release Valves
Air release valves should be fitted to the highest point in your drip system to release air pockets from the system. This prevents dirt from sucking back into the dripline when it empties, which is the most common cause of dripline blocking.
It has a 1/2" threaded base which screws into a poly female threaded tee in the dripline.
